Controller SamplePeriod mask

The Controller SamplePeriod block can be used to obtain the sample period of the PMP controller.

For processing blocks on a slave controller it is possible to obtain the communication bus frequency by selecting CommunicationBus as sample period source in the block mask. Changing the sample period source has no effect for processing blocks on a master controller, i.e., it will always return the controller sample period.

The output of the block is equal to the specified fixed-step size during Simulink simulations.

The block doesn’t support a variable step solver.

The output of the block has datatype float.
